How to Get to Tower 19 in Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay

Gaining access to Tower 19 in "The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay" is more complex than you might think. You first encounter the door to Tower 19 in the Recreation Area of the mines. The door is sealed off, however, so you'll have to find a more creative method of entry. Once you reach the Mining Core, you can do just that. The key to accessing Tower 19 is Jagger Valance. He knows the passwords that will enable you to advance through the area.

Instructions

  Locate Jagger Valance in the Mining Core. To find him, head over to the bulldozer on the right side of the area. Follow the grinding noise to a pair of miners and a guard. Defeat them and recover the Vent Tool. Go between the bulldozer and the stack of crates and you will see a light. Follow the light to find Jagger Valance.

  Speak with Jagger and he will tell you of a package in another room. You will also receive a password. Go across to the other side of the area. Take out the guards and go up the ramp. Turn right and move through the door. Zap the guards here and utilize Jagger's password to open the door that says, "Gas Leak." Crouch down and head inside.

  Climb over the crates and into the cave area. Grab Jagger's Package and exit the room. Return to Jagger and hand over the Package. He will give you two passwords. Backtrack to the room with the forklift near where you first entered the Mining Core area. Ride the elevator to the Upper Mines.

  Climb the ladder up to the walkway. Eliminate the men here and go through the key-coded door to the cargo transport. Ride up to Level 3. Go through the doors on your right to the Mine Entrance area. Zap the pair of lights above you and turn on your Eyeshine. Move to the right, toward the ventilation hatch. Climb inside.

  Move down to the lower part of the ventilation hatch when you encounter the broken area. Locate another hatch above and enter. Continue through, then disable your Eyeshine and jump down into the elevator. Ride up to the Work Pass area.

  Exit the elevator and turn left. Get on the elevated area and climb the crate. Jump up and grab the wall, then shimmy to the left. Climb up when you reach the end. When you arrive at the top, jump to climb the railing and go forward across the area. Hop down when you reach the end of the railing.

  Drop down into the Work Pass area. Go through the door to Power Central. Zap the guard, then head through the Feed Ward Emergency Ventilation door by utilizing Jagger's password. Enter the hatch and proceed through the shaft. You will emerge above the Feed Ward. Shoot the lights and eliminate the guard. Head down the stairs and right at the junction.

  Check the right side of the hall for a control panel. Operate it to shut off the lights in the Dining Hall. Turn and enable your Eyeshine. Move to the other end of the corridor and eliminate the pair of guards. Go into the Dining Hall.

  Follow the wall in the upper part of the first room in the Dining Hall. Take a left when you can, then continue on to the junction. Take out the guard on the right, then proceed left at the junction. Go down the hall to the right and zap the guard. Check the wall for a ventilation hatch. Climb inside and go through the shaft to reach Tower 19.
