How to Get SNES 9X GX Xenon to Work

While the Xbox 360 features a massive library of game titles, sometimes you just run out of things to play. Imagine if you could boot up your 360 and play classic Super Nintendo titles anytime you wanted, assuming you have ROM images and own the original cartridges. SNES 9X is a popular program that emulates the Super Nintendo on a PC. Snes9x GX Xenon is a port of SNES 9X for your Xbox 360. To get Snes9x GX to work, you will need to install it on a modded Xbox 360 system.

  Download the Snes9x GX Xenon software from Xbox-Scene.com

  Drag Xenon.elf onto a USB drive along with any ROM images you wish to play. Insert the drive into the USB port of your modded Xbox 360 system.

  Turn on your modded Xbox 360 and wait for the splash screen to load.

  Map your Xbox 360 controller to the Super Nintendo game pad using the Input Configuration menu.

  Select the File menu and click "Load Game" to choose a ROM image. Boot up the ROM image to begin playing Super Nintendo ROM titles on your Xbox 360 using Snes9x GX Xenon.
