M16
The M16 is called a "wall gun" in this mode by COD players, because it is one of the standard weapons lying around that respawns in the various zombie maps. This gun combines the ideal range, shooting mode (three-shot burst) and unlimited ammo to make the most versatile generic gun anyone could use as a default weapon, regardless of perks or level.
SPAS-12
The shotgun class is useful for the zombie mode, not because of its accuracy, but its knockdown ability and usefulness at crowd clearing. It is especially notable because, unlike other shotguns that fire at most two shots in succession, the shotgun can be fired in semiautomatic mode to clear out a mass of zombies with a full load of shells.
Galil
The best assault rifle for this mode is the Galil, a Russian-made assault rifle with single and burst shot and excellent range and accuracy with very low recoil. Paired with a sight, it is the ideal weapon for headshots for veteran players. It can be obtained from the mystery box, rather than from the racks on the walls of the headquarters.
Unique Weapons
Each zombie mode map usually has one unique weapon, but two weapons are common to every map: the Ray Gun and the Thunder Gun. The Ray Gun is the more useful of the two, holding much more ammo and exploding groups of zombies with the secondary fire mode. The Thunder Gun is much more powerful, but can only hold two shots at a time.
