How Do You Get Rid of Quest Sign on Top of the Dog in Fable 2?

"Fable 2" is a 2008 role-playing game available exclusively for the Xbox 360. The player-character starts out as a child and befriends a dog. Once the main character has grown up, the dog will be a constant companion. The player usually has to follow a sparkling golden trail to get quest objectives, but in one instance a quest requires the player to follow the dog. When this happens, a "Quest" sign will appear above the dog's head. The only way to get rid of the sign is to finish the quest.

Instructions

- 1
  Go to the Wraithmarsh area of the game. Until you complete the "Evil in Wraithmarsh" quest, there is no way to get rid of the sign above the dog's head. Follow the sparkling golden trail, which will lead you to the Wraithmarsh as long as it is your active quest.

  Follow your dog once you reach the area. It will lead you straight to a well where two characters are trapped. Stand in front of the well and press "A" to climb inside it.

  Defeat all the enemies while protecting the two characters you are supposed to rescue. After the battle, travel to Bloodstone Docks and defeat the banshee waiting for you there. Press the "Y" button to perform ranged attacks on its head for an easy win.

  Return to the pub in Bowerstone where you originally received the quest and it will be marked as complete. The quest sign on top of the dog will disappear.
