How to Combine Weapons in Dead Rising 2: Case Zero

Most of the items you can pick up in "Dead Rising 2: Case Zero" may be used as weapons against the zombie hordes. Some items can be combined at a workbench to improve their combat performance. It is possible to create nine different weapon combinations from the random debris and items found throughout the game area. The first item you can create is the spiked bat, a weapon that is made from resources found in the room you start in.

Instructions

- 1
  Approach an item in the game world with a blue wrench icon next to its name, such as a baseball bat. Press "B" to pick it up.
- 2
  Find another item with a blue wrench icon next to its name that can be combined with your first item. For example, a box of nails can combine with the baseball bat. Press "B" to pick up the second item.
- 3
  Approach a workbench, such as the bench inside the gas station where you start and press "B" to place your first item to combine. In this example, the box of nails will be placed on the bench.
- 4
  Switch to the second item to combine and press "B" again. You will combine the two items to make a combo weapon. In this example, the baseball bat is combined with the box of nails to create the spiked bat.
