How to Make Gold on Torchlight

If you are efficient at collecting gold in "Torchlight," you will be able to complete the game's dungeons faster and with less effort. In the game, you can travel from the fictional town of Torchlight to a randomly created dungeon to battle enemies and find loot. Purchasing items and weapons with in-game gold can quicken the pace of combat and increase your chances of survival. The more gold you make, the easier it will be to defeat your enemies.

  Begin a new character. Select a difficulty level. Turn on the "Hardcore" setting.

  Enter a dungeon. Defeat enemies and search the level for gems, unique items and green items. Keep any of them you find.

  Return to Torchlight. Find Durian the Transmuter and talk to him about transmuting. Place green items together in the transmutation window, and transmute them into gems. Transmute gems together to make higher-level gems.

  Find a vendor in town and talk to him. Sell high-level gems and unique items to the vendor.
