How Do I Get on Top of Headlong on Halo 2?

Headlong is a large multiplayer map included with the retail version of "Halo 2." The map boasts long-range weapons and vehicle combat and can comfortably host even large groups of players. If you want to try to get a competitive but cheap edge over your competition, you can make use of a simple glitch that allows you to travel outside the map's intended boundaries. Once outside, you can kill enemies and help teammates from a safe distance.

Instructions

  Grab the rocket launcher, the overshield and the sniper rifle as soon as the match begins.

  Fly the Banshee out of the hangar and to the right, passing under the construction crane and in between two buildings.

  Point the Banshee at the building with the slanted roof and then aim the Banshee straight at the sky.

  Keep the Banshee pointed up; you will slowly progress forward onto the roof of the building.

  Hop out of the Banshee on the roof of the building and ensure the Banshee is lying on one side with its wings tilted.

  Stand on the lower wing that is touching the ground. Aim the rocket launcher at the other wing, which should be just higher than your head.

  Shoot the wing to force the Banshee to slingshot you into the air. You will fly upward for a few seconds and then land on a rooftop that is not intended as a play area.

  Work your way across the rooftop towards the tower crane to get back to the game area. From there you should be able to see players and kill them with the sniper rifle.
