  Place the Xbox 360 in the horizontal position so discs sit at an even level while spinning. Never switch move your console from vertical to horizontal while it is on, and vice versa.

  Avoid moving and bumping your console while it is on. This can knock the disc off track and cause scratching.

  Use your controller to turn off the console instead of turning it off manually. Never eject a disc while your Xbox 360 is on.
