How to Install Call of Duty Themes

Changing the theme on the dashboard of your Xbox 360 provides a slick, customized look for your console. Microsoft provides thematic content that changes the background images of the dashboard, preferences, settings and library panes. Beginning in 2007, Microsoft also began providing premium themes that would change the objects behind each avatar on your friends list to match the theme.

Instructions

  Press the Xbox button in the center of the controller. Navigate to the "Marketplace" pane using the left thumbstick. Select the "Game Marketplace" option and press the green "A" button.

  Scroll up to the "Add-Ons &Extras" option. Scroll to the "Themes" option on the right and press "A."

  Scroll up to the "Titles A to Z" option. Scroll right to the "C" option and press "A."

  Select the "Call of Duty" game version you would like to download a theme for. Press the "A" button.

  Scroll right to the extras page. Scroll down to the preferred "Call of Duty" theme. If no themes are present, then select the "See All Extras" option and press "A."

  Select the desired "Call of Duty" theme and press "A." Press "A" again to confirm the download. Once the download is finished, press the Xbox button, then the yellow "Y" button.

  Scroll up to the "My Xbox page" and then select the gamertag panel that displays your avatar. Press the "A" button. Select the "Change Theme" option and press "A."

  Scroll through the list until you can select the desired "Call of Duty" theme and press "A."
