How to Make a Demolition Derby Map in Halo

"Halo Reach" supports a vibrant Forge mode where players can place weapons, vehicles and scenery wherever they want to create amazing maps, including demolition derby arenas. In some of the larger maps, players can set up incredibly destructive stadiums where Spartans will do battle from the cockpit of massive Scorpion Tanks and explosive Rocket Warthog vehicles. With creative vehicle and weapon placement, you will have a battlefield that you and your friends will be happy to litter with wreckage and fallen Spartans for many hours.

Instructions

    • 1

Enter the Forge mode of "Halo Reach" and choose a large map. Picking a huge map to edit gives players more room to drive, more vehicles to add to the battlefield and a larger space to customize. Forge World and Hemorrhage are excellent locations to make a "Halo Reach" demolition derby.

    • 2

Place vehicles and spawn points closely together. This should be a priority because it gives players access to a ride as soon as they return to the map after a death. An entertaining demolition derby gives players a ride as often as possible. Scorpion Tanks, Warthogs, Elephants, Ghosts, Wraiths and the Mongoose are all essential for a high-octane demolition derby.

    • 3

Give players weapons that rival the destructive force the vehicles wield. Drop Gravity Hammers, Grenades and Rocket Launchers to keep stranded players in the action.

    • 4

Drop explosive items in high-traffic areas of the map to keep vehicle-driving players on their toes. Volatile crates and land mines are a good way to restrict play to certain areas, while providing an additional challenge for the combatants.
