How to Make Pictures Out of Weapons in Halo 3 Forge

You may have seen the amazing and creative art made by "Halo 3" users who have mastered placing items in Forge mode. The Forge mode's customization tools are more commonly used to place weapons and vehicles for new and different multiplayer experiences. Some players, though, have taken to making special art that uses weapons as the lines of a picture. Players have made all sorts of original images simply by placing weapons suggestively in "Halo 3's" Forge mode.

Instructions

    • 1

Start a game of Forge mode from the main menu of "Halo 3." Choose a map with broad, flat areas to place weapons and items, then enter the match.

    • 2

Press "Up" on the directional pad to switch from your Spartan character to Editor Mode. You can now scroll through the items, vehicles, scenery and weapons that you can set on the map.

    • 3

Fly to a flat plain to set weapons onto. Flip through the "Weapons" sub-menu to choose weapons to place on the map.

    • 4

Choose weapons with the "A" button. Press the "Right Trigger" to give rotation controls to the controller's thumb sticks. Rotate the weapon to the orientation you want and press the "A" button to drop the weapon in place on the map.

    • 5

Exit Forge by pausing the game and selecting "Save and Exit" once you are happy with the placement of the weapons.

    • 6

Enter the Theater mode and pull up the Forge replay from the recent videos playlist. Use the video controls to zoom, pan and take screenshots of your Forge art.
