How to Remove the 50 Points Sparring From UFC 2010

Video game companies will often release "patches" after the game has been released to repair perceived glitches or imperfections in the gameplay. Such was the case when THQ released a patch for the fighting game "UFC Undisputed 2010" that only allowed a player to achieve a maximum of 50 experience points during a sparring session, eliminating the possibility of "super-powered" fighters. Removing the 50-point cap on the system requires a removal of the patch from your game console.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn on your gaming console. You will not need your "UFC Undisputed 2010" game disc to complete this process.

    • 2

Access your console's memory from the main menu upon start-up. The PS3 will have it listed under "Game Data Utility" while the Xbox 360 has it listed under "Memory" in the "System Settings" menu.

    • 3

Delete the "UFC Undisputed 2010" patch. The PS3 allows you to do this directly by highlighting the UFC patch file and deleting it. On the 360, hit the "Y" button when your hard drive is highlighted and select "clear system cache."

    • 4

Play the game without redownloading the patch. This allows you to potentially get 100 points or more per sparring session without the cap in place.
