Fable 2: How to Get the Daichi If You've Already Passed the Fire

In "Fable II," powerful weapons like the Daichi are the key to eliminating your foes before they have a chance to overwhelm you. The Daichi is the strongest weapon to be had in Albion. Due to its power, the weapon was locked away in a chest at the bottom of the trap-filled Archon's Knot tomb. You enter Archon's Knot through Brightwood Tower. During your first visit to Brightwood Tower, if you pass through the magical curtain of fire, you cannot immediately return to the area. Later in the game, you can return here and enter Archon's Knot to retrieve the Daichi.

Instructions

  Open your map and select "Brightwood" to fast-travel there. Head up the stairs and kill all of the enemies that assault you to move on.

  Turn to the left when you get to the top of the stairs and look for the broken railing. Walk up to the broken railing and press "A" to jump into the well below. You are now in Archon's Knot.

  Walk down the path until you see a glowing orb, called a flit switch. Shoot the flit switch to open the door. Head through the door and walk upstairs.

  Enter the next room. Look at the candles on the wall. Step on the panels that the candles mark to walk safely to the other side of the room. If you step on the wrong panels, you will be hurt by spikes.

  Shoot the flit switch on the other side of the room and go through the door it opens. Stand on the glowing panel in the next room. Return to the previous room.

  Walk up to the statue and press "A" to activate it. The statue will perform an expression, such as "point and laugh" or "whistle." Copy the statue's expression to unlock the flit switch. Shoot the switch.

  Go through the door and return to the room where you crossed over the spikes. The spikes now periodically shoot through the floor. Use your Slow Time spell to cross the room safely.

  Go up the stairs and open the chest. This deactivates the moving spikes, allowing you to reach the key on the other side of the room. Grab the key and backtrack until you see a door. Use the door to go outside.

  Turn right to see a chest in the alcove. Press "A" to open the chest with the key. You receive the Daichi.
