How to Do Co-Op in Viva Pinata 2

In "Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise" for the Xbox 360, you and up to three other players can participate in an online game on Xbox Live. Multi-player games are separate from your single-player gardens, so you have to start a new garden the first time you play online. However, you can save your multi-player garden and resume play with your friends at a later time. While you start co-op play with a mostly empty garden, each player's gardening level and tools remain intact.

Instructions

  Choose "Play a Garden on Xbox Live" from the main menu of "Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise."

  Select "Create Game."

  Use the number pad on the right to set the privacy for your game. You can set between zero and three slots as private, meaning the slots are only open to people whom you invite to the game.

  Choose "New Garden" and give your multi-player garden a name.

  Press the guide button in the center of your Xbox 360 controller when the multi-player garden loads.

  Select "Friends." Scroll through your friend list and press the "X" button over the gamertag of a person you want to invite to play "Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise."
