How to Get GTA IV Achievements

In "Grand Theft Auto IV" for the Microsoft Xbox 360, you will explore every area of Liberty City as Niko, a foreign transplant to this American metropolis who is pulled into the criminal underworld. The game features plenty of achievements, which you can unlock by completing various missions and side quests in this 2008 title. When you complete the task that unlocks an achievement, a message will pop up and the tally will be added to your gamerscore.

Instructions

  Earn achievements by completing certain missions. You will get the five-point "Off the Boat" achievement by finishing the first mission, the five-point "Feed the Fish" achievement by completing the mission "Uncle Vlad" and the five-point "Lowest Point" achievement by finishing "Roman's Sorrow." Earn 10 points by completing the mission "Museum Piece" to earn the "Impossible Trinity" achievement.

  Survive for five minutes after getting a six-star wanted level to notch the 40-point "One Many Army" achievement. Unlock the 50-point "Walk Free" achievement by outrunning the cops with a four-star wanted level on your head.

  Get high scores in some of the side games. Earn 180 points with three darts to get the 10-point "One Hundred And Eighty" achievement. Get 10 more points for "Pool Shark" be defeating a friend at pool. Score a turkey in bowling (three strikes in a row) to unlock the 10-point "Gobble Gobble" achievement.

  Unlock "Wheelie Rider," which is worth 30 gamerscore points, by hopping on a motorbike and doing a wheelie that lasts at least 500 feet.

  Build up speed and crash your car in a manner that causes it to roll over at least five times. This will earn you the 30-point "Rolled Over" achievement.

  Blow up 10 vehicles in 10 seconds or less to get the 20-point "Chain Reaction" achievement.

  Build up your bankroll to at least $500,000 and you will get the "Half Million" achievement, which is worth 55 points.
- 8
  Pilot a helicopter under all the bridges over water in the game to unlock the 40-point "Under the Radar" achievement.
