How Do I Save My Marriage in Fable 2?

"Fable II," developed by Lionhead Studios and published by Microsoft, was released on the Xbox 360 in 2008. You can marry any villager over the course of the game, whether it is a man or a woman, and start a family. However, just like in real life, your significant other can request a divorce if she is not pleased with you. There are multiple reasons a marriage in "Fable II" can end in divorce -- if your significant other catches you cheating, if you ignore your family or do not provide enough money to the household. There are a variety of ways you can increase your significant other's happiness and save your marriage.

  Raise the daily allowance you give to your significant other. Press "A" in front of the sign post next to your house's front door. Set the number next to "Upkeep" to 1,000. Every day your significant other receives 1,000 gold coins and the happiness bar increases each time this happens.

  Wear clothes that have a high sex appeal and a low evil rating. You can view how the clothes affect these ratings by viewing them in the menu before trying them on. The happiness bar increases just by looking at you if your clothes appeal to your significant other.

  Perform expressions your significant other likes. By default, romantic expressions such as hugging, kissing or dancing always raise your significant other's happiness bar. You can also perform your significant other's favorite expressions, found in the info screen, to greatly increase the happiness bar.

  Give your significant other high quality gifts. The quality of the gift can be determined by the amount of stars next to it, with one star being the lowest and five stars being the highest quality possible. Gifts such as Gilded Flowers and Superior Chocolate greatly increases your significant other's happiness.

  Show your significant other the trophies you have accumulated by completing quests and slaying enemies. Your significant other's happiness is increased in addition to raising your overall Renown rating.

  Consummate your relationship with your significant other on a regular basis. Each time this occurs, the happiness rating for your significant other increases.

  Visit your significant other often, preferably on a daily basis. Your significant other's happiness bar starts to decrease at a rapid pace after a few in-game days for every day you do not visit.
