How to Get an Xbox 360 Application File

The Xbox 360 marketplace is a digital distribution vendor that is accessible on your Xbox 360. You can browse and purchase Xbox 360 application files, such as games, directly from your Xbox 360. The purchased files are saved on a Xbox 360 hard drive device, and if ever deleted, can be downloaded again. Purchasing content from the Xbox Live marketplace can be done using Microsoft Points.   Power on the Xbox 360. Sign in to your Xbox Live account.

  Highlight "Explore Content" and press "A" on the game controller.

  Select "Download" or "Purchase," then press "A." If Microsoft Points are needed to download the item, you will be prompted to purchase an appropriate amount.

  Select a hard drive device if prompted, then press "A."

  Highlight "Confirm Download," then press "A." The file will be downloaded to the Xbox 360.
