Earning the Awards
Players can obtain the famous pinata after earning all 841 awards in the game. A "Romance" award comes for romancing a species, while a "Master Romancer" comes after getting seven of a particular species in their garden. "Visit" awards come when species visit the player's garden. "Reside" awards come when species become residents of the player's garden. "Variant" awards come for discoveries of the three color variants for each species. "Grown to Maturity" awards come from growing plants, and "Bonus Growth" awards come at each of the three fertilization levels of each plant. "Watering Can" awards come from obtaining watering cans, and "Shovel Upgrade" awards come from obtaining shovel head and handle upgrades. After earning all the awards, a rare developer called "BIGsheep" sends the famous pinata through Xbox Live, which may take a few days.
Trading With Players
Simply trading for the famous pinata with other gamers over Xbox Live can earn the achievement. Often, gamers will help each other by lending their famous pinata to others after earning it; gamers tend to find each other to make these requests on various forums, such as at GameFAQs.com or GameSpot.com.
Visiting a Garden
If a player visits another player's garden and watches him unpack a famous pinata, the achievement unlocks.
Misconceptions
Famous pinatas cannot be hatched. In addition, player levels do not contribute to earning a famous pinata.
