How to Fix a Cracked Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Disc

"Call of Dury: Modern Warfare 2" is available for numerous consoles and the PC. The game comes on a dual-layered DVD disc that, like others, is prone to small cracks that can prevent the game from playing in your system. The cracks may sometimes be too large to repair, but if they are only minor you may be able to fix them with some basic household items.

Clear scotch tape

  Locate the crack in your game disc. It can be repaired if it has not physically separated your disc into two pieces.

  Squeeze the cracked portion of the disc so that the cracked portions are flush with each other.

  Place scotch tape on the labeled surface of the game disc along the length of the crack. You may need to apply extra tape for longer cracks.
- 4
  Attempt to the play the game in the game disc. If it still does not work, the disc may be beyond repair and need to be replaced.
