How to Boost With Only Two People in Modern Warfare 2

In nearly every multiplayer game, including "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2," some sort of ranking system is used to show how good each player is. "Boosting" is a technique developed by players to quickly raise the rank of two or more players through the course of one or more multiplayer matches. If you and a friend want to boost, a special piece of equipment must be enabled for both of your classes.

  Load the "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" game disc in your console and select "Multiplayer."

  Select "Live" or "Online," then choose "Create a Class." Enable "Tactical Insertion" in the weapons class of your choice under "Equipment" and enable the "Silencer" attachment for your weapon(s). Note that it is a good idea to use one of the more powerful weapon types when boosting, such as a shotgun.

  Choose "Sleight of Hand" as your first perk, "Cold-Blooded" as your second perk and "Ninja" as your third perk; then, join a match with your friend. Once inside the map, walk to an isolated, preferably little-traversed area and place both of your Tactical Insertions. Take turns boosting by killing each other and then replacing your Tactical Insertions as soon as you spawn on them.
