How to Unlock Makoto in BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger

"BlazBlue" is a fighting game series for the Xbox 360 featuring two games: "BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger" and the sequel, "BlazBlue Continuum Shift." Makoto Nanaya appears in "Calamity Trigger" during the story mode as an opponent. However, there is no way to unlock her in this game. In the sequel, "Continuum Shift," Makoto was made available to players as downloadable content. To play as Makoto, the DLC must be purchased and downloaded before she can be selected in your game.

      Select the "Game Marketplace" tab on the Xbox 360's main menu.

      Select "Explore New Games."

      Select "Titles A-Z."

      Select "B" followed by "BlazBlue CS."

      Select "Extras."

      Select "Additional Playable Character Makoto Nanaya."

      Select "Download Now." As of June 2011, Makoto costs 560 Microsoft points to download. Once selected, the download begins automatically and the data is installed to your Xbox 360's hard drive.

      Launch "BlazBlue Continuum Shift." Makoto is among the playable characters on the character selection screen and can be used in every mode except the story mode.
