How to Get Groundus in Lost Odyssey

Your character can find or learn dozens of spells in "Lost Odyssey" to help him uncover the secrets of his forgotten past. Groundus is one of these spells, and it gives you the ability to damage one enemy with an earth-based attack. The Groundus spell is hidden in a trash can on the "Grand Staff" level. Once you find this spell you'll have access to it for the rest of the game.

Instructions

  Play through the "Grand Staff" level until you reach the north end of the Armory. Go into the elevator on the right side of the screen and go up to reach the Engine Section. Go slightly south and go down the ladder.

  Go all the way to the right, following the curving walkway, until you reach another ladder. Go up this ladder, then up a much smaller ladder leading to a platform on the right. Go north along a walkway and click on the green computer screen to turn off the steam.

  Go south and climb back down the small ladder. Go east and climb down a ladder next to a thick pipe. You could also walk onto the pipe and fall down to the level below. You'll see two trash cans to the northwest. Kick open the southern trash can to get the Groundus spell.
