How to Get the Troll in Multiplayer in Lord of the Rings Conquest

In the fantasy action role-playing game "Lord of the Rings: Conquest" players can choose which side they will play, either the forces of Middle Earth or Sauron's Army. It is possible to discover and control more powerful creatures in the game, such as the vicious cave troll. If you choose to play as Sauron's Army in multiplayer, there is a chance of a sleeping cave troll spawning on the map, which you can then locate and awaken to play as it.

Instructions

  Select to play as Sauron's Army from the multiplayer game menu. You must be playing as Sauron's Army to control cave trolls.

  Search the map for any sleeping cave trolls which may have spawned. Trolls usually appear in areas near command posts in multiplayer maps while playing "Conquest" mode. There is a random chance they will appear during a game, though capturing and holding a command post can increase the chance of them appearing. In other multiplayer modes, trolls typically appear in areas off of roads or other paths.

  Take control of a sleeping cave troll by approaching it with a foot soldier, such as an orc, and following the on-screen prompt's instruction. Depending on the version of the game you have, you will need to press a different button: the right trigger for the Xbox 360 or R1 for the PlayStation 3. While the troll is under your control, the unit you used to awaken it will not be available to control.
