Purchase a clear case for the Xbox 360 and add fluorescent lights into the system. Fluorescent lights are composed of soft glowing components, which do not create heat when lit for extended periods of time. Due to this quality, fluorescent lights can be added into the Xbox and run for hours right next to important console components without causing any damage.
Paint the console case. Remove the casing carefully with a screwdriver and set over newspaper in a well-ventilated area. Spray paint an even finish over the entire surface. Use stencils to create an attractive and more detailed finish. Once paint dries, apply a clear coat to protect and preserve the painted details.
Implant a small LED clock into the Xbox if the system is no longer working. Remove the disc drive from the system and roll up tissue paper. Allow one section of tissue to hang out the disc door as a tissue holder and alarm clock combination. If you do not want to sell your broken 360, consider this as a way to recycle the console for your own use.
Remove the case and attach a thick fabric to the exterior. Use super glue to attach fabrics such as vinyl, leather or plastic-leather. Use a hot glue gun along the interior of the case to attach a thinner fabric to the case. This will create a stylish finish to the console which you can pop off periodically and replace by gluing on a new fabric.
