How to Accept an Invite in CoD4

"Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" for the Microsoft Xbox 360 offers players a variety of team-based scenarios and plenty of customization options as they battle online against their peers in this first-person shooting game. This 2007 title allows you to invite your friends online to play with your team against opposing forces. If you get an invitation to join a match, accepting it and entering the game is a snap.

Instructions

      Press the Xbox guide button in the center of the controller. If you do it quickly after receiving the invitation, the invitation will immediately pop up. Otherwise, scroll to the messages section to find the invitation.

      Select "Accept Game Invite" to enter the game lobby.

      Select your weapon class, including perks and equipment, before the match begins.

    • 4

      Let the friend who invited you into the match know when you are ready to play via the Xbox Live headset.
