How to Get Apologize in Fable II

"Fable II" offers players the opportunity to create a character and choose their character's moral alignment by performing good or bad deeds. A higher or lower level of morality will unlock different game options for your character, including new social expressions like 'Apologize.' When you commit a forgivable offense, like getting in a fight or stealing something, the 'Apologize' social expression allows you to get out of trouble with the law, thus preserving your good morality rating. However, to unlock the 'Apologize' expression you must first display that you have good morals.

Instructions

    • 1

Increase your morality rating to at least 25 percent Good or higher. Raise your morality rating by performing positive tasks, such as selecting Good options during missions and donating gold to the Temple of Light.

    • 2

Commit a forgivable offense in front of a non-playable character. Forgivable offenses are crimes like vandalism, non-lethal assault and stealing.

    • 3

Press the "Up" button on your control pad when you are next to the villager who spotted you to select the 'Apologize' option. The icon for this interaction resembles a white flag.
