How to Get a Dragonfly on Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise

"Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise" is an ecology-themed gardening sim for the Xbox 360. Players plant flowers, trees and vegetables, then watch as they grow. A healthy garden attracts wildlife in the form of living pinatas. Each type of pinata is attracted to specific conditions, such as particular plants or other pinatas that it can eat. The Dragumfly pinata is a giant insect resembling a dragonfly. It's looking for a home with plenty of water, so you'll need a 200-square-pinometer pond to attract it.

  Engage in gardening activities to gain experience. When you reach Level 26, you unlock the Dragumflies, which will begin appearing in your garden -- though they won't take up residence. Along the way, you will receive the pond shovel at Level 7. You can use this to dig a pond for your Dragumflies.

  Dig a 200-square-pinometer pond, equal to 20 percent of your garden. This is the minimum to attract Dragumflies. If you want them to mate and breed, the pond needs to be 250 square pinometers.

  Visit Costolot's in town and purchase at least 12 bullrush seeds, two flower seeds of any type and a firebrand. Plant the bullrush seeds in mud near your pond, and place the firebrand anywhere in your garden.

  Water the seeds until they get smiley faces. Do this every day until the bullrushes are full-grown and the flowers have bloomed. The flowers will attract Tafflies.

  Send a Taffly into the firebrand. It will catch on fire. Immediately extinguish it using your watering can. It is now a Reddhott. Reddhotts and Dragumflies hate each other. Wait for a Dragumfly to arrive and beat up the Reddhott. The Dragumfly will then move in permanently.
