How to Get the Jack in the Box Challenge in Modern Warfare 2

Released in November 2009, "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" features not only a globe-trotting single-player action campaign, but a more expansive online multiplayer mode than its predecessor. Unlike in the campaign mode, online gamers earn experience points (EXP) with each match depending on their performance, and these points then go toward the player's overall rank. One way to rack up substantial EXP is by completing the in-match player challenges, such as "Jack in the Box."

Instructions

  Select "Tactical Insertion" as your equipment in the online game lobby.

  Select a game mode that contains instant respawns such as "Deathmatch" or "Team Deathmatch."

  Sneak up to an enemy player without shooting and secretly deploy your tactical insertion flare. This will take about three seconds to light.

  Run at the enemy and shoot only to get his attention, not to kill. Let him fire at you and kill you, thereby drawing other enemies to the same spot. You will then respawn right where you left your flare.

  Come out of the tactical respawn point with your guns firing and take out whoever is there under five seconds. All you need is at least one enemy kill to complete the challenge.
