How to Build a Catapult in 'Halo 3'

If you don't want to run somewhere in Halo, you can build a catapult that will launch you there. This is a much faster way to get places, and the catapult launches you farther than a man cannon. Launching yourself on a catapult will hurt you slightly when you use it, but you're in the air for so long that you'll heal.

Instructions

  On the home screen, select "Forge" and then start the match.

  Enter Edit Mode by clicking up on the pad and then clicking "X."

  When the menu pops up, use "RB" and "LB" to choose your category. When you get to scenery, click "A" on "Radio antenna."

  Hold "LT" and use the joystick to turn the antenna horizontal to the ground, then drop it.

  Go back into Forge Mode. Select "Scenery" and make three fusion coils.

  Pick up the antenna by clicking "A" on it and dragging it. Place the tip of it on one of the fusion coils.

  Stand on the tip of the antenna with the fusion coils.

  Throw a grenade at the coils. They will explode, launching you in the air like a catapult.
