How to Solve Puzzle 20 on Assassin's Creed 2

In the video game "Assassin's Creed 2" for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and home computer systems, players take on the role of Ezio, an assassin living in Florence in the 1400s. Although a majority of the gameplay involves sneaking around and killing foes, players must also solve puzzles left behind by the Templars in order to complete Ezio's mission. The 20th and final puzzle, "The Origin of the Species," is broken down into three separate challenges that the player must solve in order to complete the puzzle and unlock the secret of the Templars.

Instructions

First Puzzle
- 1
  Rotate the fifth ring of the puzzle left two times using the directional buttons. The third ring will also move with the fifth ring.
- 2
  Rotate the fourth ring to the left two times.
- 3
  Rotate the third ring to the right two times. The first ring will also rotate.
- 4
  Rotate the second ring to the right five times.
- 5
  Rotate the first ring to the left three times. The fifth ring will also rotate, solving the first part of the puzzle.
Second Puzzle
- 6
  Listen to the audio clues to try and find the location of the hidden item.
- 7
  Search the picture for the icon of the Vitruvian Man, located near the top of the screen. It looks like an eye inside of a sun.

  Move the cursor over the icon of the Vitruvian Man and select it using the action button.
Third Puzzle
- 9
  Move the cursor over the cipher keypad with the directional pad.
- 10
  Select any three glyph symbols by pressing the action button. It does not matter which three you select.
- 11
  Move the cursor over each of the joints of the bones to evolve the picture and finish the puzzle.

Xbox 360
