How to Fix an Expansion That Is Not on the Map in Dragon Age

The map locations added in downloadable contents (DLC) expansions for "Dragon Age: Origins" should be available once you have completed the linear set of quests at the start. If the DLC map locations do not appear once you are past Lothering, there is a problem. In most cases, the DLC finishes downloading while the game is running and does not appear until the next time it restarts. If this is not the issue, you need to delete and reinstall the offending DLC expansion.

      Enter the dashboard menu. This menu opens when the console is turned on. You can also press the "Xbox" button on the controller and "Y" to open it while playing a game.

      Choose "System Settings" under the "My Xbox" tab of the dashboard menu.

      Choose "Memory" and select your hard drive from the storage device list.

      Choose the "Games" section of the hard drive memory.

      Choose "Dragon Age: Origins."

      Select the DLC expansion that is not appearing on the map from the game files.

      Select "Delete" from the available options.

      Press "B" until you return to the dashboard menu.

      Choose your Xbox Live avatar from the "My Xbox" tab.

      Select "Manage Account."

      Select "Download History" from the menu.

      Download the DLC expansion by selecting it again in your download history.

      Start "Dragon Age: Origins." The DLC map locations should appear on your map.
