How Do You Make a Jenga Tower in Halo 3?

The Forge mode in "Halo 3" gives a large enough amount of control over object placement to build all manner of structures. The proportions of the barrier object, a replica of the concrete barriers used to block highway lanes, are quite similar to the blocks used in the board game, "Jenga." It is quite possible to build a large "Jenga"-style tower using these blocks.

Instructions

    • 1

Start Forge mode. You can use any level you want. All of the levels have a flat area large enough to accommodate the base of the tower. Outdoor levels are usually preferable because you can build taller towers without worrying about the ceiling height.

    • 2

Find a spot to build the tower in the level. The spot should be perfectly flat and level. It needs to be large enough for three barrier objects to be placed next to each other.

    • 3

Press "Up" on the direction pad to enter monitor mode.

    • 4

Press "X" to open the objects window.

    • 5

Press "RB" three times to get to the scenery objects.

    • 6

Press "A" to select the barrier. You can move the barrier around with the control sticks. Press "A" again to confirm the barrier placement. Gravity pulls it to the ground if you place it in midair.

    • 7

Place two more barriers next to the first one along the long edge. The three barriers should form a square when viewed from above.

    • 8

      Create another barrier.

    • 9

Rotate the new barrier so it is perpendicular to the barriers you just added to the tower. Hold down "RT" while moving the barrier. The control stick causes the barrier to rotate, instead of move when "RT" is held down.

    • 10

Place three perpendicular barriers on top of the tower. When placed correctly, the height and width of the upper and lower sections of the tower should be close to identical, even though the blocks of the sections are perpendicularly oriented.

    • 11

Repeat Step 9 and Step 10 to add more sections to the tower. Keep repeating until the tower is the desired height.
