How to Get Out of Forge World Without the Countdown

Forge World is a massive editable playground for use in the Forge mode of "Halo: Reach." Forge World provides you with plenty of space to create and edit multi-player maps. If you try to venture outside of the designated Forge World editing area, you will receive a countdown indicating that you must return to the game area. Lingering outside of the world's borders beyond this countdown has grave consequences for your character, but you can avoid it by taking advantage of a simple glitch.

Instructions

    • 1

Load Forge Mode by selecting it from the "Halo: Reach" main menu. Select "Forge World" and set your map to "Forge World."

    • 2

Run to the rear right corner of the hangar in which you spawn.

    • 3

Add a respawn point directly under your location. You can open the objects menu by pressing "B."

    • 4

Spawn a new grid after your respawn point is placed and rotate it so it is perpendicular to the ceiling.

    • 5

Back into the corner and then flip the grid into your body by holding the right trigger and pressing down on the right control stick.

    • 6

Stop flipping the grid as soon as you die, then end the round when you respawn.

    • 7

Open "Theater mode" and watch the video of your Forge build. When your character dies, hit the "Y" button twice and fly directly backwards. This will launch you out of the map, without the countdown timer.
