Instructions
Remove your Xbox 360 Elite console from its packaging. Plug one end of the power cable into the back of your Xbox 360 Elite and the other end into the battery connected to the plug. Insert the plug into the nearest power outlet.
Connect one end of an RGB cable into the slot on the back of your console. Connect the three color connections at the other end of the RGB cable into their corresponding color connectors on your TV. The slot is typically on the back of your TV. However, if you have a wall-mounted TV, you may find the slot at the bottom or side.
Turn on your Xbox 360 console. Select the language and your location.
Select "Migrate Your Xbox Live Account." Enter the details for your profile, as well as your Xbox Live username and password, to connect your console online. Select "Yes" to apply any updates you may need for your Xbox 360 console. These updates are mandatory and must be done to play on the console. As soon as you select "Yes," the update will automatically be installed.
Press the "Open Tray" button at the left-hand side on the front of your console. Insert the GTA IV disc into the disc drive. Press the button again to close the tray. The game will load up for you to play. There will be no menu; the game will instantly start in single-player mode.
Press down on the "D-Pad" of your controller. This will bring up the cell phone at the bottom of the screen. Select "Multiplayer" from the options on the phone screen. This will take you to multiplayer mode.
