How to Get Forge Goals in Halo 3

"Halo 3" features a robust multiplayer map editor known as "Forge." Using Forge, you can create and move in-game items, change objective locations and edit the rules of any map in the game. The Forge software allows you and your friends to create unique games that inspire intense competition or encourage players to explore their environment. You can add goal-based items like capture points, Oddball skulls and flags for capture by editing some in-game settings.

     Open the map you wish to edit in "Forge" mode. You can open Forge from the "Halo 3" main menu.

     Press up on the directional pad to enter Editor Mode.

     Hit the Start button to open the main Forge menu.

     Select "Change Game Type." Scroll through the various game types until you find the one you would like to work on.

   • 5

     Wait for the game to load a new round. Once the new round begins, your creation palette is stocked with the correct goal items for the game type you selected.
