How to Remove the Wanted Level for GTA 4 for 360

A life of crime is essentially the goal of the wildly popular and controversial game "Grand Theft Auto IV." As in real life, violent crimes -- especially committed in broad daylight -- will probably catch the attention of the police. "Grand Theft Auto IV" allows the use of cheat codes to help escape cops. A single code automatically takes away the wanted level, which in turn allows you to focus on the next mission without any worries of an arrest.

     Find a safe place to hide where cops can't get to you. Depending on your speed with the controller, you'll need anywhere from five to 20 seconds of time away from the cops.

     Press "Up" on the directional pad to pull out the cell phone.

   • 3

     Dial 267-555-0100. This call automatically takes away the wanted level.

   • 4

     Press "Up" again to put away the phone.
