How to Get Past the Restricted Section in LEGO Harry Potter

Take off the invisibility cloak once you enter the restricted section and make your way to the other end of the room.

Walk up to the cauldron on the right side of the room and select it. This will cause the cauldron to float up into the air and position itself in front of the door. Three items you need for the potion to allow you to get past the door, a red piece, a blue object and some yellow flowers will float above the cauldron.

Walk to the left side of the room and open up the desk against the wall. Inside of it will be a book that belongs to the wizard statue.

Use the Wingardium Leviosa spell to get the statue to raise you up to the balcony area.

Destroy the ice wall to retrieve the blue object behind it. This needs to be taken to the cauldron.

Walk to the other side of the room and get on top of the right balcony using the same spell, Wingardium Leviosa.

Knock over the bookcase to find the red piece. Take it back to the cauldron.

Return to the same balcony on the right side and search the blinking flowers. From that spot, you can grab the yellow flowers, the final ingredient to your potion.

Mix the ingredients together in the cauldron to blow open the door.

Move the books down the first hallway inside the next room to find the green puzzle piece.

Take the puzzle piece and insert it into the green spot on the gate, along with the red and blue pieces already sitting there. The gate will open.

Grab the key at the end of the hallway and unlock the next door.

Send Scabbers, the rat, up the hamster tube to the upper balcony area. Have Scabbers knock down the piece of the door to you.

Unlock the final door using the piece Scabbers got for you and get out of the restricted section.
