How to Ask Someone to Be in Your Posse on Red Dead Redemption Online

"Red Dead Redemption" is a third-person shooter game set in the fading days of the Old West. In addition to the single-player campaign, players can also access a multi-player mode. While in multi-player, you can ask other online players to join your "Posse." A posse is essentially a group of up to eight players who take on missions together. Of course, you have to know how to invite players into your posse first.

  Press the "back" button, the small round button immediately to the left of the "guide" button, to bring up the options menu.

  Press the "Right Bumper" button to switch to a list of players online.

  Scroll down the list until you find a player you want in your posse. Press the "A" button to select that player and bring up a list of options.

  Select the "Propose New Posse" option. This will invite the player to form a posse with you. Repeat these steps until you have invited as many players as you want.
