How to Get the Viblade in Perfect Dark Zero

"Perfect Dark Zero" is the sequel to Rare's original "Perfect Dark" --- itself a spiritual successor to the earlier "Goldeneye 007" --- on the Xbox 360. The game boasts a wide variety of weapons, many of which need to be picked up during specific missions in order for them to be usable in the rest of the game. One such weapon is the viblade, a powerful sword that becomes your default melee weapon when you have it equipped. The viblade is located in the "Mansion Infiltration" level.

Instructions

     Play through the level normally until the point at which you successfully infiltrate the mansion.

     Move to the right, down the hallway, once you are inside the mansion. You will come out of the hallway into a room in which laser tripwires are moving back and forth.

   • 3

     Crouch and move under the lasers as they ascend toward the ceiling, and make your way to the stand in the middle of the room.

   • 4

     Pick up the viblade on the stand. You will now have access to the weapon in later levels.
