How to Make Drums on Halo 3

The Forge mode in "Halo 3" allows players to make custom multiplayer maps. In addition to weapons, power-ups and game objectives, players can add scenery items to the map. Scenery items can be purely decorative items or be used to construct platforms, walls or barriers to change how players can move through the map. Two sizes of drum, 12 gallon and 55 gallon, can be added in Forge mode. Some maps only allow one size of barrel to be used.

Instructions

  Start Forge mode on any map.

  Press "Up" on the direction pad to enter monitor mode. You must be in monitor mode to place and edit objects in the map.

  Press "X" to open the items menu.

  Press "RB" three times to change what items are being displayed. The top of the items menu should say "Scenery."

  Press "A" to select "Drum, 55 gal" or "Drum, 12 gal." You cannot use both sizes of drum on one map.

  Move the drum using the control stick.

  Press "A" to place the drum. The drum falls to the ground if it is placed in mid-air.
