Dead Rising Cheats for Defeating Bosses

"Dead Rising" is a 2006 survival horror video game released exclusively for the Xbox 360. In the game, Willamette, Colorado, has been sealed off by the National Guard, but photojournalist Frank West has gained access to a shopping mall in the town. The mall is filled with zombies, but the bosses are actually humans who have gone insane in the frightening circumstances. While the boss fights can be a challenge, there are some tricks and cheats to make them much easier.

Convicts
- You are attacked by three escaped convicts in a Hummer on the first night you spend trapped in the mall. Run into the maintenance tunnels, get in a vehicle and drive through the tunnels until you discover two parked trucks. Get in the truck with its headlights on and drive back toward the convicts. Ram into their truck to kill the driver and ram it once more to eliminate the passenger from the fight. Get out of your truck and hide behind it as the gunner fires at you and then shoot him with your gun when he stops.
Carlito
- Find and kill the zombie that is holding its head to collect a queen wasp. Now head to the Colombian Roastmasters and pick up the katana sword in front of the first window. Go right into the middle of the battle area and kill the wasp to eliminate all of the zombies in its vicinity. Now equip your katana and run for Carlito; you will be shot as you approach, but once you catch up to him this sword will make short work of him.
Steven
- Before you take on this boss, collect three baseball bats from around the mall; this won't take long as the bat is a common weapon. Go to the grocery store, where the battle takes place. After a short cut-scene, you will be standing next to double doors; go to the dairy aisle to pick up three cartons of milk and then return to the doors. Close one door behind you and hide behind it. He will try and shoot you but then stop to reload his shotgun. Run toward him and hit him with a power-swing of your baseball bat. Return to your hiding spot behind the door and wait for him to reload again before you strike. Each attack severely hurts Steven so this boss fight will be quick and simple.
Brock
- This cheat arguably makes Brock the easiest boss to defeat in "Dead Rising." Jump from the top of the tank to the front of it. As soon as he lands next to you, perform a Knee Drop attack and then return to the top. Hit him with the same attack once he lands beside you. Keep alternating between the top and front of the tank and using the Knee Drop on Brock; he will die after a maximum of five attacks.
