How to: a Three-Shot in Halo 3

The "three shot" is the name given to a very specific combat move in the game "Halo 3." Specifically, it refers to the fact that certain types of enemies throughout the game require three flawless shots to take down. To perform a three-shot of your own, stay calm, take your time and make sure that every shot truly counts.

Instructions

    • 1

      Press the "Y" button on the controller to take out your M6D pistol.

      Use the left analog stick to move your character directly in front of the enemy you are trying to kill.

      Use the right analog stick to aim your M6D pistol directly at the head of the enemy.

    • 4

      Press the right trigger button three times on your Xbox 360 controller to attempt a "Three-Shot" kill on the enemy in question. To successfully perform a "Three-Shot" you need to hit the enemy directly three consecutive times. If you miss or the enemy moves, you will need to start over.
