Assassin's Creed XBox 360 Templar Help

In "Assassin's Creed," Desmond Miles is sent into the body of his ancestor, Altair ibn La'Ahad, who lived in the Holy Land during the Crusades. Miles must live out some important ancestral memories while maintaining synchronicity by, among other things, avoiding death and defeating opponents using the various Xbox 360 controls. The Templars, an elite corps of soldiers, oppose La'Ahad in his quest to uncover their real motives.

Finding the 60 Templars
- Sixty Templars are scattered over the Holy Land in "Assassin's Creed." You can find them in alleys, at the corners where buildings meet and on trails. They stand with an iron box at their feet. Defeat all 60 Templars to receive an Xbox 360 achievement. Ten Templars are located in Damascus: three in the Poor district, three in the Middle district and four in the Rich district. Of the 10 Templars in Acre, four are in the Poor district, three in the Middle district and three in the Rich district. Jerusalem has 10 Templars. Three are in the Poor district, three in the Middle district and four in the Rich district. Kingdom has 30 Templars. Visit assassinscreed-maps.com for locations of all 60 Templars. If you are looking to take out all 60, avoid killing any Templars during the main story before you start seeking them out for the achievement because doing so will make the process more difficult.
Templar Guards
- Templar Guards, which wear the same clothing as Templars and share their abilities and strength, head patrols. To take out patrols, blend into groups of civilians while in Low Profile and then use the Hidden Blade by pressing X on the Xbox 360 controller to assassinate the Templar Guard. Combat the remaining guards, though if this proves too difficult, flee or find cover until your social status returns to Low Profile.
Avoiding Attention
- Both Templars and Templar Guards are sensitive to your actions and may attack you at undesirable times unless you take caution. A Templar will attack you on sight and will also attack you if you kill or upset anyone in his vicinity. Running into a Templar Guard while sprinting, tackling a guard or throwing a civilian into one will all cause the Templar Guard to attack you. Brush a guard while riding a horse, and he will chase you. Bumping into someone carrying a crate or vase, even while blending, will cause the item to break and draw the guard's attention to you.
Assassinating Templars
- To assassinate either a Templar or Templar Guard, approach from any direction while in Low Profile and use the Hidden Blade. If you are not in Low Profile, the assassination attempt will fail, and you must use other weapons. If a Templar does his War Cry while you are in High Profile mode and you use the Hidden Blade, however, assassination will be successful. You may also execute an Air Assassination while in High Profile mode by sitting on a ledge or beam and locking on to a target and using the Hidden Blade by pressing X.
