How to Get Props for Your Avatar on Halo 3 Offline

"Halo 3: Orbital Drop Shock Troopers" ("ODST") is a science-fiction, shooter game based on galactic conflict between the aliens and the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers. This was the first game that Microsoft designed to have avatar awards, which are props for your Xbox 360 avatar that are unlocked when you realize certain in-game achievements. Once you have earned the achievements, you can find and get the unlocked props through your console without an Internet connection.

     Power on your Xbox 360 console and sign in to Xbox LIVE.

     Navigate up to "My Xbox" and select your profile.

     Select "Customize Avatar." Wait for the avatar customization screen to load. This may take several minutes.

     Select "Avatar Awards," followed by "Halo 3: ODST." A list of unlocked props you can get will be displayed.

     Select the prop you want to put on your avatar. For example, select the recon helmet, to have your avatar wear it.
