How to Use the Bird in Borderlands

"Borderlands" is a game that can be played on the Xbox 360 console. In "Borderlands," the player chooses from one of four characters to quest through the planet of Pandora in search of a legendary vault, of which the treasure is unknown. One of the vault hunters, Mordecai, is able to use a special attack that enables his pet bird to act as a homing missile. In order to use the bird, there are a few preliminary steps you must take to equip it.

     Work your way up to Level 3 on the hunter by killing monsters and completing quests for NPC's (None player characters).

   • 2

     Press the "Start" button and navigate to the Talent menu. Press "A" to spend your talent point on the Bloodhawk talent.

   • 3

     Press "B" to get out of the Start menu and press the "LB" button (left bumper) to activate the bird.
