How to Hook Up an Xbox 360 to a Time Warner Digital Cable Box

Xbox 360 owners can choose to connect their console to their television or directly to their Time Warner set-top box. Connecting the game console can be achieved by way of composite or HDMI cables. Time Warner's digital cable set-top boxes are equipped with one HDMI port, so Xbox 360 owners who also have an HDTV will have to choose which will be connected to the set-top box via HDMI. If you play more Xbox 360 games than you watch HD television programming, using HDMI to connect the Xbox 360 makes the most sense; otherwise, use composite cables from your console to the set-top box and HDMI to connect the digital cable box to your TV.
