How to Mod Your Gamertag on a Mac

A Gamertag is the user name associated with a Xbox Live account and how a player is identified to friends and other gamers within the Xbox universe. If you wish to change a Gamertag, you can do so from the Xbox Live account settings. This can be accomplished on a Mac or Windows, despite Xbox being a product of Microsoft.

Instructions

      Open the your web browser and navigate to Xbox.com.

      Click "Sign in." Enter your Windows Live email account and the password associated with your Xbox Live account. Click "Sign in" again.

      Click your Gamertag in the upper right hand corner. Click "Edit Profile."

      Enter the new Gamertag in the "Gamertag" text box. Click "Change Gamertag" to confirm the change.

      Click "Save" to save the settings.
