"Dragon Age: Origins" is a traditional hack and slash role-playing game. In it, players take on the role of a Gray Warden, a warrior whose responsibility it is to combat the periodic uprisings of the demonic DarkSpawn, an event called a Blight. While seeking to end the current Blight, your Warden may take a specialization class which refines his skills. One class is the Champion, who has the ability to inspire other warriors and make them more effective in battle.

Complete the main story mission "The Urn of Sacred Ashes". It will unavoidably be assigned to you at the outset of the game and you will complete it naturally as you progress through the game.

Speak to Arl Eamon after you complete the quest.

Accept the reward Arl Eamon offers you. At this point, he will name you the Champion of Red Cliff, which will unlock the Champion specialization class.
