How to Make a Modern Warfare 2 Server on Xbox 360

"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" is a first person shooter video game released in 2009 by Activision Publishing and Infinity Ward. Along with the single player options, such as the campaign and "Spec Ops" mode, there is a full multiplayer, in which players can team up with friends or go it alone in battling online opponents. Hosting your own "Modern Warfare 2" server on the Xbox 360 is not a difficult operation.

     Start up "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" on your Xbox 360.

     Press the "Start" button and then select "Multiplayer."

     Choose "Xbox Live" and then select "Private Match."

     Change the game settings if desired by selecting "Game Setup" and then invite friends to the game by choosing "Invite."

     Select "Start Game" to begin the match and start hosting the server.
