How to Connect PCs to PS3s Through Wireless Cards

Connecting your wireless PC to your PlayStation 3 enables you to create a media connection. This allows you to share a variety of media files such as pictures, video files and audio files between the two devices. The free program on your computer called "Windows Media Player" can be used to create the connection between a PC and your PlayStation 3.

      Turn on your PlayStation 3 and your computer.

      Click on the "Settings" option on your PS3 dashboard. Select "PlayStation Network Settings."

      Select your connection type as "Wireless" and choose the "Easy" option.

      Open up Windows Media Player on your computer. Select "Tools" and then "Options."

      Click on "Library" then select "Configure Sharing." Tick the box next to "Share my media to." Right-click on the PlayStation 3 in the device list and select "Allow." This will now connect your PS3 to your PC.
